What better time than NOW to start thinking about your next vacation? Whether it be cruising, amusement parks, lazy afternoons on the beach, or lively nights at an all-inclusive resort, AAA East Central is inviting veteran travelers and novices alike to start the planning process with the guidance of travel industry experts at AAA Travel’s free Cleveland Vacation Expo.
The Cleveland Vacation Expo returns to the Holiday Inn-Cleveland South (6001 Rockside Rd, Independence) on October 22nd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The one-day event is a “Must Stop” for anybody with even the slightest hint of wanderlust. It will feature vacation planning seminars from major cruise lines, popular resorts and tour companies, on-site vacation booking by AAA Travel Agents, and exclusive one-day deals on trips to all seven continents.
“There are many layers to the vacation savings at the Expo,” said Bevi Powell, AAA’s Senior Vice President of Travel. “Any offer, from the cruise or tour providers at the show, that is available in the marketplace through October 31 is combinable with AAA’s member discounts, 1-day only show offer PLUS luggage, compliments of AAA. That’s four levels of savings!”
Following last year’s successful Expo, this year’s will feature some added bonuses. Additional theaters have been added to offer attendees a variety of presentations, including 24 presentations by travel vendors such as Rocky Mountaineer, Viking River Cruises, African Travel, and many more. There will also be several helpful presentations, such as packing seminars and tips to navigate through the security process at airports.
Another new addition this year will be the United States Postal Service, who will be processing passport applications and renewals. Attendees are eligible for several giveaways, such as free coffee and coffee mugs, courtesy of Sprint. And, with more than 30 travel booths set up, attendees are likely to discover locations that they may not have even thought of visiting.
“I’d say one of the biggest benefits for anyone who comes to the Expo is that we take care of all of the research, making travel even easier for anyone in attendance,” continued Powell.
Tickets are available at the front door, or in advance at any local AAA branch. Tickets can also be reserved by calling 1-800-354-8761.
